LOUD repetition is at the core in any propaganda campaign. In our so-called free society, volume hides the subtle maneuvers of the controlling class by moving important news to the back of a newspaper or towards the end of news broadcasts. It also dulls the edge of the mind that is inquisitive. The herd class gets so sick of hearing the same thing over and over again. By the time that one gets to the third page of a paper, or the end of nightly TV news, [one has the impulse to] head right to the comics, the crossword puzzle, the daily astrological forecast, or a sit-com just to drown out the repetitive noise.
LOUD repetition creates a sense of hopelessness that has become an epidemic in our society. Look at voter turnout in any state or federal election. PEOPLE DON'T CARE because many realize that their vote is a moot point in the whole spectrum of things. For example, in 1996 California voters passed prop 215, which legalized marijuana for medical use. This resulted in major problems with the anti-drug elite and resulted in all sorts of legal problems that are still surfacing here and there as a result. In addition to this, many of those that do vote are frustrated due to the fact that one is usually trying to figure out who is the lesser of the two evils if not just going by party loyalty.
LOUD repetition covers up that which the herd is not meant to see until it is far too late and there is nothing that can be done about the issue.
Cars can be illegally searched without any reason other then the fact that one is pulled over for a minor traffic violation. Homes can be broken into by the goon-squad simply due to the fact that someone calls in anonymously to a drug Tip Line. The feds can take an interest in anyone that pays for a plane flight in cash (must be a drug dealer, why else would anyone have that much cash on them?).The line is that this is to protect the herd from themselves and others in there midst. I am of the opinion that we the people are being coerced into painting ourselves into the corner of a totalitarian state.
LOUD repetition is also one of the best forms of mind control.
When you hear the same thing over and over and over and over again, you tend to believe that it is true.
A good example of this is the way many raise their children. DON'T TOUCH THAT, YOU WILL BURN YOUR HAND! We are not dealing only with Big Brother in our situation. The state wants to be mother and father as well, [and it] thus treats the herd as children that are unable to think for themselves. Using the Gulf War Nintendo game (Level I) as an example, the whole of our society was whipped up into a beautiful frenzy because the good ol' U.S. of A. was going to kick the butt of someone who was on the road to becoming the next Hitler. Wasn't that some great copy about a guy who was in a stalemate with Iran for several years who was suddenly[and miraculously] on the verge of world domination!
There have been to many situations that have come up in the past few years that threaten to undermine all the work that has been done over the past 80 years to control the herd. The double speak has gotten so incredible at times, that a certain percentage of our society has actually been coming out of their government-induced coma. There have been instances of the majority voting things in to law that have gone against THE PLAN. One can only hope that discomfort that many people are feeling will go beyond a slight itch and develop into anger and action.
However, we have been here before, and in every instance the coma has been re-induced on the majority. Only time will tell if we are finally on the road to lasting change. Changing our system of government to more closely resemble a democracy(as opposed to the plutocracy) will not be an easy accomplishment.
The advantage of being a pessimist is that when you are wrong, it is a good thing. When you are right, you might have an opportunity to parry the blow of the sword that is trying to take off your head.
