The war we are contributing to in Kosovo has been underway for several years now. NATO's half-assed attempts to bomb the hell out of the Serb forces have been more damaging to the innocents there than it has been for Slobodan Milosevic's genocidal forces. Meanwhile average Americans are content to ignore the crisis, hoping that it will go away. Sadly, this situation will not go away and the building blocks for WW III are being laid. To put a cherry on top, the majority of American trailer trash are ready to ship overseas and kill those damn Serbs dead. The dogs of war have been unleashed.

The most horrifying result of this war for me is not the orphaned children nor the rape and nuclear pollution of Yugoslavia, but rather the death and rape camps that have been institutionalized by the Albanians and the Serbians. These two groups have been at each others throats in the same area for many years and are systematically killing each other off in a non-classical example of the survival of the fittest, or the luckiest.

These Hitleresque death camps are an atrocity. More disturbing is the rape camps. Women, young girls and boys are taken to camps and raped repeatedly, daily, until they die. This has been going on for YEARS. It is not an issue covered by the national media nor is it a well known fact. In reality many camps have been destroyed to cover the evidence of these atrocities. I have no actual numbers for you on this matter but several educational institutions have books in their libraries that go into far more detail on this horrendous topic than anyone could ever conceive of.

This is perfect evidence that the situation is a result of pure and absolute evil being present on this blue and green marble in space we call home. I have read articles describing this evil as dark forces that feed off of the energies created by fear, pain and war. Is this an absurd possibility? Personally I don't think so.

Well, you may ask, what can we do?? I do not have an answer for you. I can only say that we must raise awareness on these issues.

This situation must be stopped by whatever means necessary as long as the occupying/protecting forces do not end the human rights violations. In fact the whole purpose of such a force would be to provide an end to the current violations of human rights. The death camps must be found and documented. Trials must be held and order restored to the region. At this point the environmental impact of this war is so horrendous -without even considering the chemical pollution- that we have rendered most of Yugoslavia a radioactive wasteland via our A-10 Warthog attacks (If you didn't know, the A-10 Warthog fires DU rounds, or depleted uranium -- spent reactor fuel from the electricity we enjoy.

It is this writer's opinion that the bombings should end immediately, the KLA (the Kosovo Liberation Army --- a ragtag guerrilla outfit funded with drug money--- should not be given American weapons to fight the Serbians. Despite the inherent risk and radiation, a NATO/Russian occupation force should enter Yugoslavia and start rebuilding the country.

If necessary we should maintain a force there so those idiots don't start killing each other again. I am very idealistic, if you weren't sure.

You might ask, "Who will pay for this?" I say make the World Bank pay for it; they have pretty deep pockets and with all the evil in the world that they have funded they can afford to pay for the fixing of Yugoslavia. Of course this will never happen.

The current American and NATO actions have not been well received by the world's population. American flag burning has become prevalent in Greece, and the force that NATO is applying as 'humanitarian aid' is wreaking havoc on Yugoslavia that will not easily be reversed. It almost makes me want to move to another country, but I think and hope that I can do more for the public good by staying put and trying to empower the people through the dispersal of information. Freedom of speech continues to be one of the Founding Fathers' best ideas. By doing everything we can as individuals to see that the truth is made available to as many people as possible we hold

the forces of evil at bay.
