Wolf: The problem with politics, in my opinion, especially in the USA, is that there is no centrist, reasonable value The pendulum either swings too much one way or the other. There is no real moderate ground. Personally I do not mind my taxes going to support abortions for teenagers who make a mistake, or young mothers abandoned by irresponsible fathers. I do support the death penalty quite fervently for serial killers and cold-blooded murderers, but not as a sweeping cure-all.... |
