THE LAST WOMAN

My e-mail correspondent's second question/suggestion ran this way:

"... How and why you think you could make things work with 'the last woman in your life;' i.e. what would you try to do different?"

" 'Differently,' Dude," I thought to myself, being in constant editorial mode.

But I also faced that this was one of the most difficult questions anyone reading my exhibitionism had presented me. Firstly, there is the explaining of how that phrase, "the last woman," has everything to do with where I find myself today.

Listening to a comedian one night, I heard the notion, "Look at your wife. Tell me that you really believe she is the LAST WOMAN you will ever have..." That notion blew me away. I was changed forever. I was too young to die! .. More

Any of ya'll remember when these was run by the League of Women Voters? Well, even they had to turn their noses up at this little spectacle when it was taken over as a privately - owned franchise by the Republaviks and Democratois to make sure it was their private little game of marbles

So now what we got is one extended TV advertisement, bought and paid for by big Corporate Money, for the two-headed party-system to show off their best ole boys. And that's how most people get to decide between Dumb and Dumber in the United States of America.

Man, I'm glad I live in the Republic of Tejas right now. We can still opt out --- as a sovereign republic --- of the bullshit you are willing to put with in the upper 48....More

San Francisco, 18 September, 2000 - The human rights organization Northern Ireland Alert today issued its Presidential and New York Senate Election Edition of its Northern Ireland Presidential Candidates Scorecard.

The Scorecard, based on extensive research into the Northern Ireland-related voting records, speeches, articles, and other activities of the five main Presidential Candidates and two New York Senate candidates, called for the election of Vice President Al Gore and First Lady Hillary Clinton, based on their exemplary efforts toward the ongoing peace process. Sen. Rick Lazio also received praise, receiving Northern Ireland AlertÌs second highest ranking, "VERY ACTIVE." Texas governor George W. Bush and Reform Party candidate Patrick Buchanan were evaluated as "INTERESTED," the fourth highest ranking. John Hagelin of the Reform/Natural Law Party and Ralph Nader of the Green Party were ranked as "UNINTERESTED," Northern Ireland Alert's lowest score.

Of the Vice Presidential candidates, Sen. Joseph Lieberman received a solid "ACTIVE" evaluation, the third highest ranking.
