AN OPINION FROM SIMIYU BARASA:"The current debate on abortion in Kenya risks being prematurely aborted using stereotyped simplifications. Abortion is not a black and white issue; it is full of grey areas which have so far not been adequately addressed. Whether you are a proponent or an opposer of its practice. The current debate shows that Kenyans -- and indeed the international community -- have embarked on a new moral world order. This moral order squarely has its foundation on our concepts of life and death, which are currently being reconstructed with each passing day.
Reading Peter Singer's Rethinking Life and Death, one realizes that abortion debates have been fuelled by misinfor mation, that morality is undebatable and unchangeable. Surprisingly, the church itself has been a major player in the misinformation game. ..." READ MORE
DRAGANA VICANOVIC REPORTS THE WEATHER:
"Hi, Bogey!
As I promised, I dug out some more information about this weekend's storm.
It started all of a sudden on Thursday, November 18, and struck central and southeast Europe.
This horrible storm showed a few different faces: in some places it was accompanied by hurricane-force winds, elsewhere by snow or heavy rain and in other places it was a combination of all three.

The hurricane wind devastated many regions in Poland. In Warsaw, the heavy snow storm started on Friday. In the central and western parts of Poland, multiple accidents were reported that were believed due to the combination of the snow storm, strong winds and rain. Electrical systems throughout that country were seriously damaged. ... " READ MORE

Forget the Gold-digger, say independent women like Atlantic, Georgia (USA,) based Leidra Lawson, author of the new book Sugar Daddy 101, and embrace the Suger Baby.
G21 chatted with Ms. Lawson about the Sugar Baby philosophy this week and this is what we discovered.
G21: For readers unfamiliar with the concept, please explain what you mean by "sugar baby."
LEIDRA LAWSON: A sugar baby is a woman that dates, usually, an older man, (but not necessarily so)?who gives her financial help,?by way of?gifts or money. A sugar baby is simply a girlfriend that a boyfriend likes to spoil. Some people think that this a gold-digger situation but it usually isn't. It can be a?mutually agreed upon relationship?where no one is being?used.?Some of these relationships can last 3 years or more and even culminate with a marriage, in some cases. ... " READ MORE
