I did not think it a good idea to deflect your attention from the wonderful writing talent here at the G-Spot. Thus, I'm going to pull back to being more of an editor at this magazine, and writing a lot less.
Yes, that is a picture of me besmirching this once-august page. Yes, I'm holding a blues guitar. Yes, that is a commemorative t-shirt from the 25th annual San Francisco blues festival. Now you know a lot more about me than anyone has a right to know.
The thing is, on Wednesday 26 August, my first "Working the Web" article for my weekly column of the same name will appear on the Andover News Network. Andover insists that their columnists provide photographs of themselves. Thus, though I have always personally hated having pictures of myself taken, let alone exposed to the world, if my mug has to appear on their site, it might as well appear on my own.
Yes, that is grey hair in my moustache and goatee...
I hope you enjoyed last week's edition, there were over seventeen(17) new features for enjoyment in that one. I especially hope you took the time to read Fliss Ussher's latest LONDON CALLING! It one of the best pieces of writing I've read in a long time. This week promises to be just as busy, and the writers and I are hard at work on planning new weekend-only features for you. Those should kick-in right after Labor Day, in case you were wondering.
Am I still moving to New York City? Heck yeah! I'll keep you posted as we go along. Right now, I've got A LOT of work to do(pant, pant!) but we'll talk again. Thanks for coming back this week.
WHY?
Because we like you....
Be Good to Each Other,
SANTA ROSA, CA. - 16 August, 1998: I have always managed to keep busy. Anyone visiting this site, and especially people who actually know me, should be familiar with that fact about my life. It should come as no surprise to people fitting those statuses that I have taken on more chores as a web writer. My experiment with writing more here rejuvenated my desire to have more of my words read.
We're glad you're here. We have a lot to offer this(and EVERY) week. Stick around. More importantly: TELL EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS. We want you here EVERY DAY.

And when not busy with publishing chores at this site, and answering sixty -to- one hundred e-mails a day, he likes to throw darts, seek female companionship, and listen to Tupac, Beethoven, Philip Glass, Joni Mitchell, James Carter, Eric Clapton, Snoop, Etta James, Miles Davis, Handel, Portishead, Sinead O'Connor, techno, house, jazz.... You get the idea.
