OAKTOWN, CALI - Have you noticed that my Link Partners program and my Hot Links(Not from Louisiana) page seems to be going nowhere lately?

As I tried to re-establish myself as one of the web writers here at the GENERATOR 21 I kind of neglected my original beat here. I've received feedback on this, Homies, and that bothers me. "What happened to `Hot Links,' Raheem?" "Yo, Homes, what? You don't give out awards anymore?"

It ain't that I don't want to... But I been kindah busy. Been this here column, our private conference board, my e-mail, and my Day Job, I been just up to my tonsils in this here web stuff. I never would have believed this stuff would take so much time.

I guess what I'm sayin', Homeboys and Homegirls, is that maybe I underestimated how much time it takes to be working every week on a web magazine. So I needs me some break time.

Doing these weekly columns has been exciting, sometimes. But more and more I also find that my attention is taken away from stuff I really care about. I liked doin' the Hot Links page. I think the Link Partners program has been a healthy thing for this magazine. So I believe it is time to step back a little.

I still believe in what is being done here at the G21, and will continue to support it and tell all my friends. But, I think there's enough fine writers here --- besides me --- that you'll have reasons to come back.

Like Arnold, I'll be back.
